Why I Created Cyclical Yoga My Story
This all started during a period when my yoga practice was completely solo. Traveling often, and juggling a full schedule: a master’s degree, work for sustainability startups, and personal projects. I had no consistent studio or community.
I pushed myself hard every day, ignoring my body’s signals, and constantly felt drained. I thought I was being productive, but I wasn’t moving efficiently or sustainably.
Then I noticed something: one style of yoga didn’t fit all days. Some days I craved strength and flow, others gentle stretches were all I could manage. Paying attention to this allowed me to practice consistently for the first time, without forcing myself.
When I learned about the female cycle in depth, everything clicked. What had started as trial and error became a method — cyclical yoga.
Through this practice, I was able to:
Reduce anxiety and tension, especially before my period
Alleviate cramps and discomfort
Maintain focus and productivity
Feel in tune with my own body rather than running on autopilot
